General Information

In 2008, Bexley Women’s Club held the first House & Garden Tour. 2013 will mark the 6th Annual Tour event. The Tour has become the primary source of funding for the BWC Scholarship Fund.

The BWC House & Garden Tour is a two day event.

  •  The first day is a tour and party combination. On Saturday from 4-7 p.m. house and gardens are available to tour. This is an extended tour and includes areas not available on Sunday. At 7:00 p.m. our Starry, Starry Night party begins under the Columbus School for Girls gorgeous graduation tent! Live music and dancing adds to the festive atmosphere. Local eateries provide wonderful and tasty treats. A cash bar is available. It’s a special night for all in attendance. The price of the tour and party is $50 per person and includes food and a ticket to Sunday’s tour. You can use Sunday’s ticket or give it to a friend.
  • Sunday is tour day.  From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. some of the most beautiful homes & gardens in Bexley are open to tour.  Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 tour day.  Bexley’s BEAT bus provides complimentary shuttle between houses. The tour has become a destination for people from all over Ohio.  Artists are stationed in some homes and you can check on the progress of their work.  Sponsors are often onsite at homes and gardens that have undergone renovation.  They provide firsthand knowledge of the work done.

Over 300 volunteers are required to power the tour.  Volunteer opportunities exist all year.  You can commit to a committee position, a shift on tour day or become a sponsor.  A successful tour is a community achievement.  Your help is welcome and needed.  Click here to download the 2013 House & Garden Tour volunteer form.
